I spotted this new meme from Reading Between the Pages and thought it sounded like fun.
The rules are simple:
- A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
- Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
- Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
"This room had things all over the place. Art that didn't match the couches, funny-looking ornaments, tables and chairs with spindly legs and animal claws, two couches with totally different fabrics- one blue and ivory floral, the other multicolored as if a cat had thrown up on it- and a coffee table that doubled as a chessboard. The floor felt like it was uneven, sloping from the fireplace to the bookshelves, making me feel a little seasick." pg 56

I like your snippet, and the title of the book is funny. Thank you for stopping by my blog!
Wow! You have lots of furniture in your post!
You can find mine HERE
Is this an ARC? I liked PS I Love You by Cecelia Ahern. Do you happen to know when this will be released?
Here's my Theme Thursday post.
Oh, you've got all kinds of furniture! Good one! My author a little spare in furniture details (drat him)... http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/03/theme-thursday-furniture.html
Shirley, my copy is an ARC I won from Goodreads First Reads but the book was released on Jan 25th. It's a fun little read though a little different than P.S. I Love You. It's got quite a bit of mystery and suspense to it.
Sounds similar to my decorating style too, lol. Cept hopefully people don't feel dizzy in my house ;)
I chose a passage from The Dressmaker.
Nice snippet...Very descriptive...
Good one and sounds like a good book.
Great excerpt - lots of furniture there.
Happy reading!
Thanks for participating.. Thats a wonderful snippet for this week's theme.
I've seen a lot of Voldemort today. Popular villain! Personally I never really cared for him. Thanks for hopping by, I hope you have a good weekend!
