Well, I’m nearing the end of Les Miserables. I have just finished Book Four: The Epic on the Rue Saint-Denis and the Idyll of the Rue Plumet. Only one more book to go now. This book was a little different. There was a bit more action as we see the beginning of a protest and revolution. Some of the people of Paris are not too happy and have set up a barricade on the street, gearing up for a fight. Of course our characters are quickly finding themselves entangled in this battle one way or another.
I am very excited to finish and see how this all plays out. I originally planned on reading a book a week but I’ve ended up way ahead of schedule. I just couldn’t help myself, as soon as I finished one I needed to start one the next to see what was going to happen. I should be completely done sometime this weekend.

I look forward to your overall review of this book.
I may hay have to start this one over again. I had trouble getting interested in the beginning and gave it back to the library. based on what you're saying, I may give it another go.
oh yeah, you are a reading machine!
Pat I would suggest you try the abridged version, less historical tangents and more of the actual story. Stick it out, once you get past the first 100 pages or so the story really starts to pick up.
