Theme Thursdays is a fun weekly event hosted by Reading Between the Pages. The rules are simple:
- A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
- Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
- Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
- It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
This week’s theme is – CROCKERY / UTENSIL
My snippet this week comes from Love You More by Lisa Gardner
"She was camped at his kitchen table, clutching a thick clay coffee mug while counting slowly to twenty." pg 6
Be sure to leave a link so I can check out your theme post!

I haven't read a Lisa Gardner book in a long time. Our snippets are along the same lines except mine was a glass :) Both of our ladies seem angry :)
It was worth the search I guess. A good snippet and apt for the theme
I just love Lisa Gardner.. I have not read Love you More but I hope you enjoy it so that I can make it my next read....
I forgot to mention that I had a guest post at Housewife Blues and Chihuahua stories ... Do meet me there
I hope she can call down...
My Theme Thursday
I wonder why she feels the need to count. She must be upset about something! Sounds interesting.
Here's my Theme Thursday from Nana: The Four Crystals. My book review is in the previous post.
That was a good one! This theme has been a little harder to find than the rest of them, but I finally found a spoon! lol Here's a look at mine... Happy reading!!
She sounds as upset as the lady in Yvonne's snippet. It must be a week for upset protagonists.
Here's mine: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/03/theme-thursday-crockeryutensil.html
I had to use a coffee mug in mine as well. Here's mine: http://shellabelle-reads.blogspot.com/2011/03/theme-thursday-5.html
I haven't read anything by this author, but I've read good things about her work. Interesting snippet!
