- A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
- Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
- Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
- It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
My theme post this week comes from Delirium by Lauren Oliver (pg 329)
"Above us, a frantic sound of fluttering: bats, disturbed by the sound of his voice. I let out a little squeak of fear. Mice? Fine. Flying mice? Not so fine."

Hmm Bats..
My statement would have been "Mice? Not Fine. Flying mice? Disaster." :)
All your comments were heading to the spam (wonder why) and I cleared it now. Sorry about that!
Oh, sorry for flooding you with them. I didn't think any of them were actually going anywhere, which is why there are so many. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong and trying again.
Mice or bats = not fine!

I kinda like bats. ;)
They eat those pesky bugs.

Ha! I like the way the narrator thinks, though I'm not so sure I'd be "fine" with mice, either.
