I just hopped over to say hi! What a great idea for a blog - I'm now following. 1001 books is a little daunting for me, but kudos to you! What do you do when you find a book you'd like to read that isn't on the list?
It's quite daunting to myself as well. Especially when I figured that it would probably take around 10 years to actually complete, if I ever complete it.
There are so many non-list books that I want to read so I'm not opposed to taking little breaks in between list books to read something else.
I have a feeling that after something like Dostoevsky, I'll probably need something light and fun.

Hi, love the concept of your blog. I am working my way through the same list, but not the way you are. I keep the classics in mind when choosing a book (and if it is on the list, it moves up a notch). I am a new follower.
Yes after a book like that you will not only need a break, but you'll deserve on as well!
