Have fun! I am tempted to participate but I feel like Moby Dick is more of a winter read - at least for me!
I'm tempted as well. I have had a copy of that book sitting on my shelf for 10-15 years unread.
I am so excited you are reading this along with me. I started the book today and have read the introduction and chapter one. So far so good, it reads better than I had hoped.
Umm Moby Dick is one of my favorites of all time. I even considered (briefly) getting "Call me Ishmael" as a tattoo. No joke. I really hope you enjoy it.

This is good to hear! I had a pastry final tonight so I haven't started yet but I'm hoping to get a chapter or two in after I get something to eat.
Moby Dick is one classic I've never read. Good luck with this challenge, It will be interesting to see what you think of it.
Meant to read 1-2 chapters of Moby Dick last night and ended up reading 4. It's actually pretty engrossing and we haven't even gotten on a boat yet.
I cannot wait to pick up my copy tonite!!!!
